I'm New

Meridian Friends Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

What To Expect

Something special is happening at Meridian Friends Church. There’s always a sense of warmth and joy as people make their way to a worship service, or direct their children to their class.
As you make your way through our front doors, you’ll find greeters happy to see you who will give you a bulletin with the order of worship and announcements for the week and sermon notes if you like to fill those out, totally optional! Our friendly pastor, Ken Redford, is there also to meet you and help you find your way around.

Don’t Expect to be Singled Out!

As a visitor, you won’t be singled out or asked to make a donation. We encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to experience all that Meridian Friends has to offer. We also hope you will communicate with us when visiting by filling out a MFC Registration Card during each service. This provides an opportunity for us to be able to reach out to you and see how you’re doing.

Where Do I Take the Children?

We provide nursery care for ages 0-4 in Room 3 during our service (9:30-10:45). Kids age 5 – grade 5 are invited to attend the worship service with their parents and they will be dismissed at approximately 9:45 am to go to Children’s Church in Friends Life Center.
During our Bible Study hour we have Bible Studies for Jr. High and Sr. High Youth, Young Adults, and Adults. Nursery care is provided for ages 0-24 months during this hour in Room 2 (11:00 am - 12 pm).

How Should I Dress?

Meridian Friends is a warm and inviting place and we’re always excited when someone visits our services. You’ll find a mix of styles here, with some dressing casually, others in business casual, and still others in suit and tie. We want you to feel comfortable joining us just as you are–whether in jeans or silk!

What Happens During the Worship Service?

In our worship services we have welcoming words, announcements, worship songs, time for reflection and prayer, special music, and a meaningful message relevant to today. Our services reflect a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.

Come for Coffee!

Every Sunday from 10:45-11:00 am coffee and snacks are served in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great way to meet others or to fellowship with your church family.
