Leadership

Ken Redford has served as our lead pastor since 1994. Ken’s deepest passion is sharing Jesus with others. Ken preaches uncompromised biblical truth with a combination of humor, research and stories. Ken graduated from George Fox University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies. He graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1994 with a Master of Divinity degree. While studying at George Fox, Ken met and married the love of his life, Tresa. Ken and Tresa have two children and have been enjoying the “grandparent life” after welcoming their first grandchild in June 2021. Ken and Tresa share an equal sense of call to ministry in sharing their lives and gifts with Meridian Friends Church. They enjoy daily walks with their two pugs. They enjoy travel and have led two study tours of the holy lands. Pastor Ken and Tresa normally reserve Fridays and Saturdays for rest.

Tresa Redford has been serving in the church for many years, but she officially came on staff a few years ago as the Family Life Pastor. With 25 years of ministry at MFC under her belt, alongside her husband, pastor Ken Redford, she has begun a new adventure ministering to the families of our church by organizing Vacation Bible School, encouraging women, and finding ways to strengthen marriages and help parents.  Tresa graduated from George Fox University in 1991 with a degree in Christian Educational Ministries and has spent the last 20+ years being a stay-at-home mom.  She and Ken have been married for 30 years, raised two children who are both now married, and are enjoying figuring out the empty nest life. Pastor Tresa normally reserve Fridays and Saturdays for rest. 

Haley started as the church's Administrative Assistant in January 2024. She has attended Meridian Friends Church her whole life with her family. Haley and her husband met at a bible study in Star and were married a year later in 2016. Together they share one dog and a baby girl. You won’t find her cheering on the Broncos in the cold, but she is a proud Boise State graduate regardless. This little family loves to spend time together reading, going on walks, and trying new food, all while cherishing their deep love for Jesus and their active involvement in their church community.
